Requiring Quality by Working Together
_____Quality appears as one of the essential commitments of the Group. Public transport is also valued when compared to other means of transport. Transdev has set itself apart from its competitors.
To fight against the non-quality aspects within its corporation, Transdev has chosen an original internal procedure. Transdev Quality Certification. This certification is attributed, according to a process that is itself certified ISO 9001, to the networks that have implemented the necessary management tools to follow-up and improve on its services
Finding the Right Criteria
Satisfaction of the local community, of customer-passengers and efficiency of the corporation. Quality can be measured using these five criteria: punctuality/regularity, passenger information, cleanliness of the vehicles and stops, and finally reception of passengers and claim processing.
This initiative, a complement to more specific certification projects adapted to local terms (such as ISO 9001, 14001 or 18001 or NF Service) represents a group model regardless of the nature and the geographical location of the certified activity and is a tool for improving relations and credibility with regards to local communities.
Transdev, well-Known for its Quality of Service
Gratifying testimonies, such as official congratulations from local management, prizes and victories granted by independent organisations prove it. For example, Transdev Yellow Buses was awarded 'Best Shire Operator of the Year' at the 2009 UK Bus Awards.
